Fay J. Knop, 79, of Leesburg, Fla., died Wednesday, June 30, 2010.
She was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Cedarburg, and moved to Leesburg from West Bend in 1987. She was a member of St. Paulís Catholic Church. Fay was a retired bookkeeper from Consolidated Mineral Company of Leesburg. She was an avid golfer and swimmer. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling with her husband.
Fay is survived by her husband, Earl R. Knop of Leesburg, Fla; daughter, Susan M. (John) Zabinski of West Bend; son, Steven R. (Nancy) Knop of Coon Rapids, Minn.; brother, Jim (Karen) Zilke of Jackson; sister, Joan (Andy) Schneider of Clermont, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Michael.
Visitation will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, Leesburg, Fla., on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Paulís Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 7, at 8.30 a.m. with the Rev. Gianni Agostinelli officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
