Cynthia J. "Cindy" Wetzel, 52, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010.

Born in Hartford to Phyllis and Darl Lehman, and longtime resident of West Bend, Cindy is survived by her husband, Edward; son, Michael; daughter-in-law, Rosanne; son, Jonathan; sister, Connie; mother, Phyllis; as well as many of her close friends and family.

Cindy was a baker for many years. She took her passion and talent for culinary arts to various bakeries and restaurants around Washington County, creating desserts and breads. Her most recent creation was the wedding cake and individual cheesecakes she made for her son’s wedding two weeks ago.

In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed spending time with her other love, her dog Millie. She was a dedicated wife, daughter, sister and mother, always there to lend a hand to anyone. Her spirit and kindness will never be forgotten.

We will all hold a spot for her in our hearts and carry her memory with us wherever life may take us.

Funeral services for Cindy will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 9, at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford. Family will greet relatives and friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
