Orville T. Plageman

Orville T. Plageman, formerly of Hartford, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010.

He was born May 28, 1922, the son of Louis Plageman Sr. and Hattie Plageman. Orville married Ruth E. (nee Schulz) Plageman on Oct. 6, 1945. He was an Independent Insurance Agent for Plageman-Semler. Orville’s hobbies included golf, trapshooting, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; his son, Todd O. (Sheila) Plageman; his grandchildren, April L. (Cory) McDowell, Adam T. (Jenny) Plageman and Kelly M. Plageman; and his great-grandchildren, Julia Rayne McDowell and Carter Hale McDowell.

Orville is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Sylvia Mueller, Madeline Von Wald, Louis Plageman Jr., Donald Plageman and Delores Marlock.
Visitation Friday, July 9, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main St., Hartford, and Saturday, July 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 317 E. Walnut St., Horicon. The Rev. Elaine Gerth will officiate. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Horicon.
