Megan Elizabeth Arthur, 31

Megan Elizabeth Arthur was born into eternal life June 28, 2010, at the age of 31.  She was a kind, caring person, loved by many.  She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her.

Megan is survived by her devoted husband, Derek Arthur; and children, Tyler and Ella Arthur. She was a loving sister to Jamie (special friend Michael Grimm) and twin Julie (Chris) Brandt.  She was also an amazing aunt to Megan, Katelyn and Ryan Brandt; cherished granddaughter of Phyllis Wallock; and beloved daughter of stepfather, Ken Metz, and father, Glenn Singer.

Megan was born in Milwaukee on Aug. 22, 1978.  She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and MATC, and graduated with an associate degree in nursing.  She was so proud of being a nurse and genuinely loved taking care of people.

Megan married Derek on April 14, 2000, and devoted her life to taking care of her wonderful husband and beautiful children, who she often said were her greatest accomplishment. She chose to be a stay-at-home mother because she didnít want to miss a minute of her childrenís lives.

Because Megan was such a giving person, she desired to be an organ donor so that others could get another chance at life.  She was incredibly forgiving and always believed in second chances. Ask anyone what they remember most about Megan and they will surely reply that she had an amazing smile and infectious laugh. She was a great listener and strangers quickly became friends due to her positive attitude and accessible personality. All she had to do was laugh and she could brighten any situation.

In addition to her husband, children, siblings and grandmother, Megan is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Megan was preceded in death by her adoring mother, Mary Beth Singer-Metz, and her loving grandparents, Donald Wallock and Ed and Ruth Singer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Meganís children, Tyler and Ella, are greatly appreciated.
