Dolores M. Gundrum, 83
M. Gundrum (nee Spaeth), 83, of the town of Addison died on Tuesday, July
13, 2010, at The Kathy Hospice.
She was born on April 11, 1927, in the town of Farmington to the late
Sebastian and Clara (nee Schladweiler) Spaeth.
Following her marriage to Harold E. Gundrum on June 26, 1948, at St.
Michaelís Catholic Church in St. Michaelís, the couple settled on the
Gundrum Family Homestead in the town of Addison. Harold predeceased June
In addition to being a fulltime wife and mother, Dolores enjoyed different
crafting projects. Her knitting, crocheting and embroidery creations were
often given away as gifts. She also spent many seasons tending to her
Survivors include five children, Ralph (Chris) of Rubicon, Ronald (Cathy)
of Hartford, Barb Breuer of West Bend, Diane (John) Breuer of Hartford and
Ken of Hartford; 16 grandchildren, Ralph (Jennifer), Marcie (Tony) Staniak,
Scott (Amy), Sue (Paul) Wolf, Rich, Carol, Linda (Charles) Edwards, Pam,
Tim, Anne (Tom) Sharkey, Kelly Breuer, Lisa Breuer, Lori Breuer, Julie
Breuer, Jenny Breuer and Mary Breuer; 15 great-grandchildren, Allison,
Emma, Alex and Marquis Gundrum, Ryan, Drew and Christi Staniak, Jack, Sami
and Will Gundrum, Emily, Teresa and Adam Wolf, Declan Gundrum and Aubrey
Edwards; a sister, LaVerne (Alois) Doll of West Bend; a brother, Roger
(Joyce) Spaeth of Kewaskum; a sister-in-law, Agnes Gundrum of Allenton;
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Roger, and a sister, Evelyn Vogel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 19, at 10 a.m. at
Resurrection Catholic Church in Allenton with the Rev. Richard Stoffel
presiding. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be
at the Schmidt Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a
prayer vigil at 7:45 p.m. and also Monday at the church only from 9 a.m.
until 9:45 a.m.
