Clarence E. Campbell
Clarence E. Campbell, formerly of Germantown, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the age of 86.
Clarence was born on Nov. 17, 1923 to William and Frieda (nee Weege) Campbell in Milwaukee. He married Arlene I. Radue on Sept. 20, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Clarence was a graduate of Milwaukee Boys Tech and also served in the United States Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the Whitefish Bay Fire Department in 1978.
Clarence is survived by his children Scott (Carol) Campbell, David (Pam) Campbell, Steven (Jacki) Campbell, and Susan (John) Haeberlin; grandchildren Brent and Jonathan Campbell, Jerilyn, Robin, and Samuel Campbell, Anna (Dave) Julson, Daniel, Joseph (fiancˇe Melissa Cartagena), Michael (Dakota), Julia, Nathan, Susanna, and Lydia Campbell, and Michele and Sally Haeberlin. He is further survived by his brother Bill (Nancy) Campbell, sister-in-law JoAnn Radue, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Clarence is preceded in death by his wife Arlene, daughter Sally, son Daniel, and parents.
A funeral service for Clarence will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 19, 2010 at the Cedar Community (Cedar Bay East Room), 5595 Highway Z in West Bend with the Rev. Sue Kolb presiding. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave. in New Berlin.
