Gilbert P. Beine, 83, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1926, in West Bend, the son of the late Joseph and Marie Beine. He married Hyacinth Goeden on Nov. 5, 1947, and was her cherished husband for 58 years until her death on Jan. 20, 2005.

Gilbert and Hyacinth were the proud parents of seven children and founders of Beine Milk Transit, Inc.

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his children, Kathleen (Ron Moen) Beine, Gib (Peni) Beine, Jim (Helen) Beine, Sue (Rick Sorensen) Radder, Laurie (Mark) Amundsen, Beverly Beine and David (Paula) Beine; 16 grandchildren, Kelsey, Jaime, Ann Marie, Kevin, Nicole, Lisa, Jennifer, Tammi, Lisa, Wesley, Matthew, Katherine, Nicholas, Alyssa, JohnPaul and Gianna; two great-grandsons, Kaleb and Jacob; two sisters-in-law, Charlotte (Lyle) Hader and Delores Koenig; a brother-in-law, Willie (Jeanne) Goeden; other relatives and friends.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; an infant sister, Viola; a brother, Phillip; and two brothers in-law, Jerome (Joyce) Goeden and Vernon Goeden.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, West Bend, with visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of the Mass of Christian burial at 7 p.m. Burial will take place on Saturday, July 24, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Cemetery.
