Margaret M. ‘Peggy’ McAndrews, 42
Margaret M. "Peggy" McAndrews
(nee McCarthy), 42, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010, at
her home.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1967, in Milwaukee to Philip and Colleen (nee
Riley) McCarthy. Peggy graduated from Dominican High School in Whitefish
Bay in the class of 1985. She then served her country in the U.S. Army
with a tour in Iraq. On May 23, 1992, she was united in marriage to Brian
McAndrews at Holy Hill Catholic Church. She had worked for ADT and
Forethought Insurance Company.
Peggy was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Slinger. She loved
being with her family and enjoyed swimming, winning several awards in
grade school.
She is survived by her husband, Brian; three children, Michael, Cali and
Cory; her parents, Philip and Colleen McCarthy of Milwaukee; brother,
James (Kim) McCarthy of Franklin; sister-in-law, Christine Knutowski of
Fort Myers, Fla.; parents-in-law, Gerald and Jackie McAndrews; nieces and
nephews, Nathan, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Alex, Molly, Stephanie, Caitlyn and
Nicole; other relatives and friends.
Peggy was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick McCarthy.
A Mass of Christian burial in remembrance of Peggy will be held on
Saturday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Slinger
with the Rev. Rick Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be Friday at the
funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary Vigil at 7:30 p.m.,
and Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
Memorials to the children’s education fund are appreciated by the
family.
