Eldora L. Stefaniak, 86


Mrs. Eldora L. Stefaniak of Muskego, formerly of Grafton, passed away early Friday morning, May 28, 2010, at West Allis Memorial Hospital. She was 86 years old.

Eldora was born Dec. 7, 1923, in Edgar, the daughter of Henry and Hulda Betzner Krueger. On Aug. 10, 1946, she was united in marriage with Edward Stefaniak. He preceded her in death in 2003. Eldora worked as a loan officer at Cedarburg Bank for many years. She was a member of St. Paulís Church in Tess Corners, and formerly a member of St. Paulís Church in Grafton.
Eldora is survived by her three sons, Edward Jr. (Maxine) of Muskego, Scott of Saukville and Steven (Jeri) of Jackson. She is further survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Hintz of Spring Hill, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Lawrence Stefaniak of Muskego; sister-in-law, Virginia Habermeyer of Calif.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today, June 3, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., in Port Washington. She will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Milwaukee County Genealogical Society.
