Eve ‘Evonne’ Silvia, 64

Eve "Evonne" Silvia, 64, of West Bend, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.

She was born on June 21, 1945, in Dartmouth, Mass., to Edward and Bertha (nee LaValle) Silvia.

Eve’s faith was very important to her. She lived for her family and friends and had a special place in her heart for children and those in need. Even at the age of 64, she had the heart of a teenager. Eve was an inspiration to many children who, over time, developed into close friendships.

Eve loved bringing joy to others at Christmas time with Christmas gifts she shopped for all year long. She was instrumental in starting Circle of Friends in West Bend, an organization that wants people to know they are loved and not forgotten.

Eve is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Russ) Krezman of Kewaskum; her two grandchildren, Amanda DiBella of Fond du Lac and David Murphy of Kewaskum; her mother, Bertha Silvia of Norwell, Mass.; one sister, Susan (Joe) Agostino of Hingham, Mass.; and Jason (Nancy) Silvia of Norwell, Mass. Eve is further survived by Lynn (Ernest) Peredetto, Amanda Peredetto and E.J. Peredetto, all of Rockland, Mass.; many nieces; nephews; close relatives and dear friends.

Eve was preceded in death by her father, Edward Silvia, and one brother, Jan Silvia.

Funeral services in remembrance of Eve will be held Monday, June 14, at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1110 E. Decorah Road, West Bend. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials in Eve’s name to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, are appreciated by the family.
