Robert A. Bravi
Mr. Bob Bravi of Belgium, formerly of Chicago, Ill. passed away on June 11, 2010 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by his family. He was 68 years old. Robert was born July 10, 1941 in Chicago, Ill., the son of Adolf and Eleanor Charles Bravi. Mr. Bravi graduated from Western Michigan University and took a job at the F.
W. Woolworth Company. He remained with them for 35 years, both as a manager and district manager.
On May 10, 1986, he was united in marriage with Mary Jane Noll in Mequon. He helped her operate Mary Jane’s Confectionery for 16 years.
He enjoyed ordering special children’s candy, and loved every minute he spent working in the store. Bob was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing yard work and working in his flower and vegetable gardens.
Bob is survived by his wife Mary Jane, three
children: Colin (Kathleen) of Cedar Grove, Robin (Sven) Kramer of
Cleveland and Dawn of Wisconsin Rapids and four step-children: Shawn
(Connie) Mitchell of Hales Corners, Chris Mitchell of Milwaukee, Dean
(Susan) Mitchell of South Milwaukee and Craig Mitchell of Belgium. He is
further survived by 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, his
mother Eleanor Bravi and his sister Barbara (Duane) Rakestraw, both of
Mount Prospect, IL, his mother-in-law Leona Noll of Port Washington,
sister- in-law Shirley (Eugene) Large of Port Washington, two
brothers-in-law Robert (Carol) Noll and James Noll, both of Port
Washington, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
