Bernice C. Tuttle, 86

Bernice C. Tuttle, 86, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.

She was born on June 4, 1924, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late William and Ella (nee Bassill) Gudex, and on Oct. 10, 1964, she was united in marriage to Edward E. Tuttle at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Bernice was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.

Those Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory include a daughter, Kathy Tuttle of Kewaskum; three step-children, Marvin (Mary Ann) Tuttle of Eden, Dale (Shirley) Tuttle of West Bend and Janet (Kenneth) Schuman of Sun Prairie; six grandchildren, Daryl (Kim) Tuttle, Dale Skudlarczyk, Danny (Missy) Skudlarczyk, Shannon (Anthony) Bliesner, William Symicek and Joseph Symicek; three sisters-in-law, Janet Gudex of Campbellsport, Augusta "Mae" Engelmann of Fond du Lac and Lorena Tuttle of Beechwood; a brother-inlaw, Francis (Pearl) Tuttle of Campbellsport; two great-grandchildren; six step grandchildren; ten step great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Skudlarczyk; a brother, Howard Gudex; a sister, Laverne Gudex and her former husband, Angelo Campagna.

Funeral services for Bernice will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. The Rev. Timothy Henning will officiate and entombment will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services.

Memorials to St. Lucas Lutheran Church or School are appreciated.
