Marilyn M. (nee Berres) Raighn


Marilyn M. (nee Berres) Raighn of Los Alamitos, Calif., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010.

She was born April 5, 1932, in the town of West Bend to Francis and Verena Berres. On May 15, 1954, Marilyn married Edwin Raighn.

Survivors include her husband, Edwin; her sister, Bette Larson; and brother, Thomas (Joyce) Berres; seven children, David Raighn, Brian Raighn, Gary (Deborah) Raighn, Cheryl (Craig) Moore, Lynn (Pat) McKay, Sharon (John) Trombly and Cathy (Robert) Druckenmiller; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James Raighn.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Forest Lawn-Cypress. A service will follow at 1 p.m. at Church of Our Fathers Forest Lawn-Cypress, Calif.
