Ella H. Bumiller, 97, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010.
Ella was born on April 14, 1912, to Henry and Caroline (nee Klein) Bumiller in the town of Trenton. There were eight children in the family. She is survived by only one sister, Lillian (Rudolph) Pfeiffer.
Ella worked for 33 years at Amity Leather Products and then retired from Doerr Electric. The last several years she resided at Cedar Bay West Assisted Living where she enjoyed all the activities.
Ella is the aunt of Margaret (Allen) Hron, Kathy (Richard) Lewandoski, Gretchen Schmidt and Ronald Rudersdorf. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, greatnephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Selma Bumiller and her twin at birth, Ida Bumiller, and Frances “Fran” Rudersdorf; two brothers, Alvin Bumiller and Oscar Bumiller; two nieces, Carol Krueger and Susan Otten; and a nephew, Alvin Bumiller, Jr.
A funeral service for Ella will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, 323 S. 5th Ave., West Bend, with the Rev. Janis Best Officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday, March 4, from 3 p.m. until time of service. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 5, at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in West Bend.
Memorials are appreciated to the Cedar Communities or Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church.
