Jeffery William Peters

Jeffery William Peters, 33, of West Bend lost his fight with Cystic Fibrosis surrounded by his family on March 1, 2010, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee.

Jeff graduated from West Bend East High School in 1995. He loved racing and outdoor sports, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Jeff was a fighter and battled Cystic Fibrosis his entire life. Ten years ago, he received a bilateral lung transplant and in November 2009, Jeff received both a kidney and liver transplant.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Tony and Judy Peters; fiancée, Kara Kaiser; siblings, Jim (Tracy) Peters, Chris Peters and Jackie (Steve) Becker; nieces and nephews, Nick, Justin, Zack, Katie, Beau, Brady, Jeremiah, Jacob, Jared and Stephanie; his fiancée's parents, John and Ruth Ebert; and his beloved pets. Jeff is further survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Stephen; sister, Sarah; maternal grandparents, Jacob and Genevieve Wenninger; paternal grandparents, Alphonse and Erna Peters; and uncle, Bruce Radtke.

A Mass of Christian burial for Jeff will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th Ave, West Bend with the Rev. Gerald Brittain officiating. Visitation will be at the church only on Monday, March 8, 2010, from 3 p.m. until the start of services. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery.

The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.
