Esther E. Laubenstein (nee Mueller)
Esther E. Laubenstein (nee Mueller), 87, of the town of Saukville,
passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, after a short stay at St. Mary’s
Ozaukee Hospital.
Esther
was
born on Nov. 27, 1922, in Milwaukee to Jacob and Helen (nee Hoppe)
Mueller. She married the late Adolph G. Laubenstein on March 22, 1941,
in Milwaukee. The couple moved to Saukville in 1944.
Esther
enjoyed cooking, entertaining and traveling in their motor home. She
also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Esther was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church and Auxillary of
Newburg, and Wasaukee Horse Club.
Esther
is survived by her children Mark (Donna) of town of Fredonia, Gary
(Suzanne) of the town of Saukville, Judith (James) Dehling of the Town
of Fredonia and Paul (Barbara) of the town of Fredonia, 13
grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, special friend Hugo (Marilyn)
Gonzales. She is further survived by her
sister, Helen Wintersteen of Apopka, Fla., sisters-in-law Colleen
Mueller of Milwaukee, Myrtle Laubenstein of West Bend, brother -inlaw
Leonard Laubenstein of Scottsdale, Ariz., nieces,
neph-ews, other relatives and friends.
She is
preceded in death by her parents, her husband Adolph, brother Ralph,
brothers-in-law Elmer and Harold Laubenstein and Phil Wintersteen,
sisters-in-law Alice and Norma and great-grandson Tyler.
A funeral service will be on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 5 p.m. at St.
John’s Ev. Lutheran Church of Newburg with Rev. Jon Baumann officiating.
Interment will take place at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at
the church only on Thursday, March 11, from 2 p.m. until time of service
(5 p.m.).
