Luann Lewis Fergus

Our beloved Luann Lewis Fergus died very peacefully Friday, March 19, 2010, in West Bend.

Luann was born in Logan, Utah, on Dec. 5, 1934, to Theron and Lucille (nee McGavin) Lewis. She married Spencer Dean Fergus and had five wonderful children. The family lived in River Heights, Utah, before moving to California, Arizona, and later Luann and her children resided in Port Washington.

During her life, she was primarily a home maker while raising the children and later became a restaurant manager/bar manager. Luann always spoke so fondly about her life in Utah and her family there. She adored her children and shared many memories of the "good old days" when they were growing up. Above all, she enjoyed every minute she was able to spend with her family. Family meant everything to Luann, and she loved her family with a constant and unconditional love.

She is survived by four of her children, Jeff Fergus of Arizona, Ken (Cindy) Fergus of West Bend, Kristi (John) Parmelee of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Kim (Doug) Navalinsky of Lorain, Ohio; and two brothers, Gary (Delores) Lewis and Ron (Eleanor) Lewis, who both live in Idaho. Luann has 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who she absolutely adored.

She was preceded in death by her father, Theron Lewis; her mother, Lucille (nee McGavin); and her beloved son, Jerry Dean Fergus.

A funeral service in memory of Luann will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey Haines officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6 p.m.

The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family.

We will always love you Luann and may you rest in peace.
