Rose R. Gnerlich, 83
Rose R. Gnerlich (nee Ravanelli), 83, of
West Bend passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010.
Rose was born on April 12, 1927, to John and Virginia (nee Giuliani)
Ravanelli. She married Clarence Gnerlich on July 23, 1949, in Mayville.
She was past president of the VFW Post No. 1393 Ladies Auxiliary and a
lifelong member of Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Rose is survived by her children, Gloria (Stan) McWilliams and Dennis
(Linda) Gnerlich; grandchildren, Michelle (Michael) Litten, Jennifer
(Brian) Carson and Melissa (Nicholas Callas) McWilliams; and
great-grandchildren, Autumn and Lauren Litten, Skylar and Nickolas Carson,
Peyton Callas and the soon arriving Bristol Rose Callas. Rose is further
survived by her sister, Mary Ann Woelbing; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; sister, Helen
Yench; and brothers, Nicholas and Charles Ravanelli.
A Mass of Christian burial for Rose will be at
noon on Friday, May 21, 2010, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 138 N. 8th
St., West Bend with the Rev. Gerald Brittain presiding. Visitation will be
at the church only from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow
at Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials appreciated to Heartland
Hospice or the Kettle Moraine Cancer Clinic.
The family would like to extend a "thank you" to all the special
people in Rose’s life.
