Marcia C. Poull, 85

Marcia C. Poull (nee Roberts) of Grafton was called home to our Lord on May 13, 2010, at the age of 85.

She was born Jan. 8, 1925, in Calumet, Mich., to Pierce and Georgia Roberts.

Marcia was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She and Robert moved to Milwaukee in 1948. A proud “Yooper,” she continued to return to the Upper Peninsula to enjoy summers at their cottage in Agate Harbor on the shores of Lake Superior.

As a stay-at-home mom Marcia was involved in many activities of her family and community.

Seeing a need for a church, upon their move to Brown Deer, she and Bob were founding members of the Brown Deer United Methodist Church in 1960.
Marcia is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Robert W. Poull; brother, Pierce (Betty Ann) Roberts; her children, Barbara (Kenneth) Wiesner, Bob (Kathy) Poull, Kathy (Tim) Doedens, David (Lori) Poull; grandchildren, Brian, Jennifer, Keri, Alison, Wil, Michael, Lindsey, D.J. and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Alex, Lauren, Nicholas, Layla and Dylan; nephews, Greg (Shannon) Roberts, Mark Roberts; and niece Julie (Mike) Regner.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her nephew, David Roberts.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 6031 W. Chapel Hill Road, Mequon.
