Marilyn K. Hefter, 53


Marilyn K. Hefter (nee Lamp), 53, of Fillmore, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

She was born Sept. 24, 1956, in West Bend to the late Andrew and Elaine (nee Ciriacks) Lamp. She graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1974. She was employed at the West Bend Company for many years and she also worked as a beautician and in hospitality at various businesses. She was a beautiful singer and enjoyed singing at weddings. She enjoyed gaming and participated in several leagues including softball, golf, pool, darts and bowling. She also loved animals.

She is survived by six sisters, Darleen (Gary) Koch of Jackson, Joyce (James) Ksioszk of Fillmore, Joan (Alan) Bohn of West Bend, Karen Krueger of Jackson, Laureen (Brian) Bastian of Fillmore and Melinda (Derek) Berube of West Bend; 11 nieces and nephews, Mike Ksioszk, Eric (Tina Ebert) Ksioszk, Greg Ksioszk, Marcus (fiancée Jamie Wamsley) Bohn, Tiffany Bohn, Adam (Cassandra Thorson) Bastian, Casie Bastian, Whitney Bastian, Carson Bastian, Evan Berube and Zachary Berube; four great-nephews, Austin Ksioszk, Riley Bohn, Mason Wamsley-Bohn , and Joshua Bastian; an uncle, Dr. Kenneth (Linda) Ciriacks of Arizona; two cousins, Nicole Ciriacks and Jennifer Ciriacks, both of Oklahoma; her former spouse, Greg Hefter of Slinger, other relatives and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant sisters, Shirley and Emily; and an uncle, Philip Lamp Jr.

Funeral services in remembrance of Marilyn will be held on Wednesday, May 26, at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 623 Congress Dr., Newburg. The Rev. Jon Baumann will officiate and burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Newburg. Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
