David D. Klink

David D. Klink, 72, of Rubicon passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

He was born Feb. 6, 1938, in the town of Rubicon to Hubert and Agnes (nee Hanrahan) Klink. He was united in marriage to Ruth Schaefer on Oct. 10, 1959, at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.

David farmed the family farm in Rubicon and also worked as a rural postal carrier. He enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers. He like to go to the Rubicon Red Sox Baseball games. David loved attending his grandchildren’s events.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Diane) of Grafton, Richard (Eileen) of Hartford and Robert (Marie) Klink of Arlington; five grandchildren, Ali, Sam, Tyler, Trey and Abigail; his sister and brothers, Mary (Wally) Kletti of Arkansas, Ronald (Julie) Klink of Arizona, and Nicholas (Janet) Klink of Hartford; his brothers in-law Ralph (Armella) Schaefer of Hartford and Jerome Schaefer of Hartford.

David is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth; and his brother, Hubert "Bert."

Mass of Christian burial for David will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Rubicon. Family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, May 31, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. and on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment at St. John Cemetery, Rubicon.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Heart Association or Kathy Hospice are appreciated.
