Rita M. Renner (nee Rohlinger), 79, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, at Kathy Hospice.
 
Rita was born on Feb. 20, 1931, to Leo and Johanna (nee Hall) Rohlinger in Ashford. She was raised in the Kewaskum area and graduated from Kewaskum High School, class of 1949. She married Robert Renner on Oct. 15, 1955, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Rita loved spending time with her family, but especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rita is survived by her children, Mary (Greg) Hansen, Deb Roensch, Donna LaVen, David (Lisa) Renner, all of West Bend, and Cheryl Gundrum of Wagner, S.D. She is further survived by her 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Dave) Ours of Campbellsport and Shirley Sarauer of Kewaskum; brothers, Gregor (Beverly) Rohlinger of Kewaskum and Norbert Rohlinger of Kewaskum; sisters-in-law, Janet Rohlinger of Kewaskum, Lucille (Chester) Propp of Milwaukee and Alice Renner of Milwaukee; brother-in-law, Donald (Caroline) Renner of Jackson; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Robert; son, Edward; brother, Al Rohlinger; brothers-in-law, Ronald Sarauer and Bud Renner; and sister-in-law, Darlene Rohlinger.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church in Barton with the Rev. Mike Moran presiding. Interment will take place at New St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church only on Thursday, Nov. 11, from 4 p.m. until time of Mass.
