An excellent sculptor and oil painter, Collie also enjoyed the outdoors. One of his favorite places to spend time was in Jacksonport, where he spent many hours enjoying Lake Michigan, bird watching and target shooting.
Collie is survived by sons, Roby (Karen) Onan of Grafton, Kevin (Jan) Onan of Hendersonville, N.C., and Kim (Kevin) Schultz of Wausau. He is survived by grandchildren, Alyssa, Zachary and Becky Onan; Theresa, Lucas and Jacob Onan; and Evan and Nicholas Schultz. He is also survived by his brother Robert (Gail) Onan of St. Paul, Minn., in addition to nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Colin was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Onan and Katherine Lucas Onan.
The family would like to thank all those caregivers who took such good care of Collie at Elizabeth Residence in Bayside over the past several years, and to the caregivers from Hospice Advantage, for their caring assistance these last few months.
A private family gathering will be held in remembrance of Colin.
May he find peace in eternal life.
