Aaron R. Firks
Aaron R. Firks died peacfully on All Saints
Day, Nov. 1, 2010, surrounded by family friends in his Naperville, Ill.,
home.
He was born May 26, 1936, in the township of Theresa.
Aaron served overseas in the U.S. Air Force from June 7, 1954, to Nov. 15,
1957, and received an Outstanding Conduct Record.
Aaron was an avid motorcycle rider and enthusiast. He was a longtime
member of the West Bend Motorcycle Club and traveled by motor cycle
throughout most of the US. His later travels abroad included Switzerland,
France, Italy, Germany, Hawaii, Alaska, and many beautiful parts of the
Caribbean.
Aaron is survived by his son, Daniel J Firks of Naperville, Ill., uncle,
Melvin Unglaub of Theresa, aunt, Lu Anne (Charles Ringle) of Lomira;
niece, Carmen (Richard Bauer) of Mayville; nephews, Charles Jr. (Crystal)
of Mosinee and Todd (Katie) Ringle of Lomira; along with other numerous
cousins and one very special friend, Jan Reuter of Theresa.
Preceded in death by parents, Adolph Firks and Hilda Unglaub; and a
sister, Audrey Hurley.
A cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be celebrated on Nov,
13, from noon to 4 p.m., at Theresa Town Hall, N8679 City Road P, Theresa.
Lunch will be served.
