Marianne K. Widhammer, 67
Marianne K. Widhammer (nee Sullivan), 67,
passed away on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010.
Marianne was born on April 10, 1943, in Ironwood, Mich., to Leland and
Mayme (nee Tarro) Sullivan. She resided in Hurley, Mich., and graduated
from J.E. Murphy High School, class of 1961. After she married Elroy
Widhammer, the couple moved to Milwaukee. In 1973, they settled in
Jackson. Over the years, Marianne was a foster parent to more than 38
children. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Christian Women and
devoted many years of volunteering to several other organizations.
Marianne is survived by her two sons, Michael (Susan) Widhammer and Daniel
(Tammie) Widhammer; grandchildren, Jessica Anne, Kelly Lynn, Torin Anne
and Keenan James. She is further survived by her sisters, Kathleen
Sullivan of Jackson and Sharon (John) Styba of Clancy, Mont.; and many
other nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elroy, and her parents.
A funeral service for Marianne will be at 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 14, at the
Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend. Visitation
will be at the funeral home only from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Interment Washington County Memorial Park.
