William C. ‘Bill’ Volm Jr., 68
William C. "Bill" Volm Jr., 68, of
Cecil, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at his home with his wife at
his side following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on Sept. 24, 1942, on the farm in
Kewaskum, the son of the late William and Agnes (nee Kohler) Volm Sr. Bill
attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in Kewaskum. On June 20, 1964, he
was united in marriage to Peggy Larson at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in
Kewaskum.
Bill was a lifelong farmer in the town of Kewaskum
and Bill and Peggy moved to Cecil after retiring. Bill will fondly be
remembered for the many fun times with family and friends at the trailer
at Hoeft’s Resort on Crooked Lake. Bill loved to travel and will be
deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.
Those Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory
include his loving wife of 46 years, Peggy; four sons, Rick (Judy) Volm of
Cascade, William (Nancy) Volm III of Campbellsport, Russell (Johanna) Volm
of Boltonville and Scott (Tania) Volm of Cascade; eight grandchildren,
Cassandra, Ricky, Nicholas, William IV, Courtney, Gatlin, Sebastian and
Sawyer Lee Volm; two great-grandchildren, Alana and Connor Hay; two
brothers, Merlin (Carol) Volm of Kewaskum and Bobby (Joanne) Volm of
Upland, Calif.; three sisters, Ruth Arbogash of West Bend, Eileen
(Reginald) Pierret of Antigo and Lindy (Bernard) Kaehne of Kewaskum; four
brothers-in-law, Calvin (Annie) Ebersold of Random Lake, Bobby Larson of
Tennessee, Richard Weis of West Bend and Dave Ritter of Kewaskum; three
sisters-in-law, Karen (John) Fechter of West Bend, Denise (Dan) Reilly of
Campbellsport and Sharon Larson of Wayne; many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in
death by a sister, Adeline Weis; four brothers-in-law, Roger (Sandy) Ebersold, Darrell Larson, David Larson and Norman Arbogash; two
sisters-in-law, Vonne Ritter and Judy (Merlin) Seefeldt and his
parents-in-law, Edward and Lila Larson.
A Mass of Christian burial for Bill will be held
at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
The Rev. Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will be at 10 a.m. on
Saturday in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Friday
at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Mass.

Bill’s family extends their heartfelt
appreciation to Dr. Guthrie, to the staff of the Cancer Care Center and
the Radiation Department staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital for the care
provided to Bill and our family.
