Glenn Eugene Suits
Glenn Eugene Suits of West Bend passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at the age of 95.
He was born on May 12, 1915, to Edwin and Carrie Suits (nee Brown) in Washington. Glenn moved to Wisconsin at a young age and attended school in the Waupaca area. Glenn married his wife of 48 years, Ruth Esther Suits (nee Spencer), on June 24, 1948, in Groton S.D. Glenn raised his children and was a longtime resident and businessman in Hartford. He later resided at Cedar Ridge Apartments in West Bend.
Glenn is survived by two brothers, Wyman of Madison and Ronald (Helen) of Ripon; three children, Karen (Don) Suits/Werner and Kermit (Debbie) Suits, both of Phoenix, and Laurie (Mike) Speer-Strathmann of West Bend; nine grandchildren, Dan Dunker, Craig Dunker, Julie (Markus) Linke, Kevin (Sara) Suits, all of Phoenix, Shawn (fiancÚ Brittney Jeters) Strathmann of Lake Geneva, Kimm Lepien of West Bend, Pamela (Andrew) Brunet of Hartford, Jonathan Lepien and Amanda Strathmann of West Bend. He is further survived by one great grandson, Coleman Brunet of Hartford.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Esther in 1994.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Stillwaters Methodist Church, 3617 Scenic Road, Jackson, on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, from 4 until the time of service at 7 p.m. The Rev. Matt Hadley will be presiding. Interment will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at 10 a.m.
