Sharon M. Hubbard, 50

Sharon M. Hubbard, 50, of Cedarburg, passed away at her home on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, after a long and valiant battle with ovarian cancer.
She was born April 22, 1960, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Marjorie Weiler Leach and Glen Leach. She was a graduate of Cedarburg High School,  Milwaukee County School of Nursing and University of Phoenix.  For the past 20 years, Sharon worked as a registered nurse case manager for various health care organizations. She was a member of St. Simon the Fisherman Episcopal Church in Port Washington.

Survivors include her husband, Michael; son, David, and daughter, Rachel, both of Cedarburg; stepchildren, Bethany Hubbard of Dallas, and Stephanie (Ali) Hubbard-Farnoud of Germantown, Md.; her mother, Marjorie Leach of Grafton; brothers and sisters, Glen Leach of Chandler, Ariz., Timothy (Lori) Leach of Cedarburg, Terry (Ellen) Leach of Gurnee, Ill., Patricia Leach of West Bend, Jane Matter of Cedarburg, and Gregory (Barb) Leach of Erin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen; and brother, Dennis.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington, with the Rev. Dr. Julian Hills officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Ovarian Cancer National Alliance are appreciated.
