Thomas J. Amann, 54

Thomas J. "Tom" "Tommy" Amann, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1956, in South Milwaukee to his proud parents, Robert and Evelyn (nee Konlock) Amann.

Tom is loving husband and best friend to wife Barb Fox-Amann; cherished and proud father to his two amazing children, Emily and Ben; special son-in-law of Joe and Gertie (nee Mutz) Fox; fond brother to Bobbie (Mick) Newman, Jeanie Amann, Gail (Mike) Corkum, Mary Ann Amann, Amy (Joel) Aiken and Carrie (Chris) Peoples. Tom will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Katie (Adam) DiBiase, Mike, Peter and Jim Schindler, Ryan and Makenzie Newman, Matt (Jess), Kyle (fiancée, Gena) and Sam Ische, Mitchell and Andrew Aiken, Sophie, Violet and Jack Peoples, Chris and Jamie Fox; and many other aunts, uncles, numerous cousins, and longtime friends.

Tom had a huge sense of humor that made everyone he touched laugh! So, SMILE! He’s wondering what you’re thinking …

A celebration of Tom’s life will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Dr., West Bend, with the Rev. Ron Schneider presiding. Gathering for family and friends will be at the funeral home only on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 11:30 a.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Educational Fund for Emily and Ben at Associated Bank, American Heart Association (3816 Paysphere Cir., Chicago, IL, 60674), or the Big Cedar Lake Conservation Foundation (P O Box 347, West Bend, WI, 53095).
