Lee C. Saeger, 72
Lee
C. Saeger, 72, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at the
Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
He was born on March 20, 1938, in Sheboygan to Ervin and Leota (nee
Herzog) Saeger. On Sept. 8, 1968, Lee was united in marriage to Lois
Krause in Menomonee Falls. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air
Force before he became an independent locksmith. Lee owned and operated
Cedar Safe and Lock until retiring in 2001.
Lee was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, the church choir and church
council. He was a baseball coach and enjoyed trapshooting and bowling. He
was also a member of the Daniel Boone Conservation Club.
Lee is survived by his wife, Lois Saeger of West Bend; two children, Terri
(Derrick) Brown of Green Bay and Cory (Robyn) Saeger of Kewaskum; four
grandchildren, Nikolas Brown, Jonah Brown, Cooper Saeger and Lane Saeger;
one brother, Alan (Martha) Herzog of Sheboygan; sister-inlaw, Janice
(Karl) Hoppe; brother-in-law, Donald (Valeria) Krause; cousins; nieces;
nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leota Walthers; and his father-
and mother-inlaw, Arno and Viola Krause.
Funeral services in remembrance of Lee will be held on Thursday, Sept. 2,
at 7 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 4860 Arthur Road, Slinger, with the
Rev. Matthew Short officiating. Visitation will be at the church on
Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place
on Friday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
Memorials to St. Luke Lutheran Church Choir, are appreciated by the
family.
