Elnora Martha Veloon, 81, of Hartford went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at the Kathy Hospice in West Bend.

Elnora was born on Feb. 18, 1929, to Henry and Adela (nee Brandt) Wolfgram. She was united in marriage to Melvin Veloon on Oct. 9, 1954, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in the town of Jackson.

Elnora was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church and faithfully served on their Altar Guild committee. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was a volunteer at the Cedar Springs Health Care Center.

Elnora is survived by her husband, Melvin of 55 years; her children, Paulette Veloon of Whispering Pines, N.C., Pamela (Thomas) Tarczewski of Greenfield, Norine (Roger) Cross of Chapel Hill, N.C., Nancy Renae Veloon of Grafton, Heidi Veloon (Girish Bhat) of Madison and Holly Schanen of Grafton; six grandchildren, Laura and Alaina Tarczewski, Eric and Ben Cross, Josey Schanen and Karuna Bhat; her sister, Helen Wolfgram of Cedarburg; and her sister-in-law, Lucille Wolfgram of Cedarburg. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Elnora was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Robert Schanen; and three brothers, Raymond, Emil and Elmer Wolfgram.

Funeral services for Elnora will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 Highway K, Hartford. The Rev. Ricky Schroeder will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.
