Rosemary Clapham, 80

Rosemary Clapham (nee Conwell) of Grafton, died on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Nov. 24, 1929, in West Bend, and attended Shorewood High School. She married Robert Clapham of Grafton on Oct. 21, 1950. They were married for 57 years before Robertís passing in 2007.

She was the loving mother of Colleen (Gary) Torke, Mary (Kevin) Marks, Patrick (Laurie) all of Grafton, and Maureen (Dean) Wetor of Random Lake.

She was the proud grandmother of Christopher, Michael, Sarah, Amanda, Erin, Courtney, Allissa and Amanda, and the dear great-grandmother of Isaiah. She is further survived by two sisters, Shirley and Kathleen, other relatives and many friends.

She was proud of her Irish Catholic heritage and gave each of her children an Irish name.  St. Patrickís Day was always a day of celebration in her home. She enjoyed late-night phone conversations with her daughters and loved the gentle autumn rain. She believed in the strength of family and always cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.  She was a loving and devoted mother who will be sadly missed by her family.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held today, Sept. 9, 2010, at 7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton. Visitation will be at the church today from 4 p.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
