Scott "Scotty" Schoen Jr., 18, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, due to injuries from an auto accident.

He was born March 10, 1992, in Minot, N.D. to Scott and Stephanie (nee Herrmann) Schoen. He graduated from West Bend East High School in June 2010 and was currently attending Moraine Park Technical College. He was also employed at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the Food Service Department for the past two years.

Scotty loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He touched many people with his charm and wit and could make anyone laugh. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Stephanie Schoen; his sisters, Allie and Emily; his maternal grandparents, Pam and Bill Herrmann of West Bend; his paternal grandparents, Casey and Jeff Latz of Jackson; two aunts, Jenny Herrmann of West Bend and Heather Herrmann of Random Lake; two uncles, Bill (Heather) Herrmann of Random Lake, and Steve Schoen of Jackson; four cousins, Megan, Billy, Jacob and Celeste; his girlfriend, Sami Kopacka of West Bend; his best friend, Bryan Driebel of Jack-son; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Arthur Schoen.

Funeral services in remembrances of Scotty will be held on Friday, Sept. 17, at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2881 Division Road, Jackson. The Rev. Paul Mittermaier will officiate and burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services.
