Geraldine "Geri" K. Grass, 63, of Hartford passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at her residence.

Geri was born March 16, 1947, in Milwaukee to Raymond and Kathryn (nee Lockman) Grass.

Geri was raised in Milwaukee and graduated from Custer High School. She became a teacher and taught at Hartford Union High School from 1969 until her retirement in 2002. Geri loved kids and loved teaching French and English. She enjoyed traveling and remained active with teaching in Neosho and Hartford. Geri was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hartford. She had many dear and close friends, especially the Roy Swanson family.

She is survived by her many friends, colleagues and relatives.

Geri was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services for Geri will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 255 W. Lincoln St., Hartford. The Rev. Dean Natterstadt will officiate. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
