Laura
Marie Wolf (nee Trott), 93, of Slinger, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 15,
2010, at Autumn Oaks.
Laura, the daughter of Henry and Albertina Trott (nee Borgman) was born in
Hartford. She married Roy K. Wolf at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford on
Oct. 27, 1938. Laura was in partnership with her husband in the Amoco
business and a homemaker. For many years, she belonged to the Washington
County Homemakers Club, H.N.O., and was a devoted 4-H sewing and cooking
leader. Her family benefited well from her fine seamstress abilities.
Laura is survived by her children, Marilyn (Richard) Mayer, Edward (Minette)
Wolf, both of Slinger, Carolyn (Niles) Wendorf of Ashippun, Evelyn (Larry)
Lepien and Laurelyn (Michael) Lepien, both of Hartford; and is further
survived by 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She is also
survived by one brother-in -law, Orlando Wolf; a sister-in-law,
Vivian Wolf both of Brooksville, Fla.; one niece, Carol Griffin of
Madison; other relatives and friends.
Laura is preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1998; son, Kermit; and
sister, Louise Kionka Guske.
A funeral service will be held at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Peace
Lutheran Church, 1001 Center St., Hartford, with the Rev. Jonathan Munson
presiding. Interment will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, at
Union Cemetery in Slinger. Visitation will be on Sunday, Sept. 19, at the
church only from noon until time of service.
Memorials are appreciated to Peace Lutheran Church or the Washington
County 4-H Trust Fund.
