Cecelia M. Senner, 83
Cecelia M. Senner (nee Kimla), 83, passed
away on Monday, March 28th, 2011, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1927, to Charles and Alvina (nee Steinmetz) Kimla.
She married Roland Senner on Oct. 23, 1948, at St. John’s Lutheran
Church in Newburg. She worked at Amity Leather for a brief time in the
1940s. She and her husband worked together on their farm. She enjoyed
playing cards, gardening, going to movies and doing needlepoint. She also
enjoyed music and playing her player piano with her grandchildren. She
especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Cecelia was a member of
American Legion Auxillary 36 and Homemakers Myranettes.
She is survived by her children, Irene Totsky of Oshkosh, Carol (Ken)
Birkeland of West Bend, Paul Senner of Oshkosh and Frank Senner of
Hartford; grandchildren, Kimberly (Travis) Karlgaard, Christopher Totsky,
Corryn and Alyssa Birkeland; great-grandchildren, Scott and Daniel Totsky;
sisters-in-law, Jean Lai of Hawaii, Tina Senner, Grace Dexter, and Marion
Wendt, all of California.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland; infant daughter,
Janet; and son-in-law, Scott Totsky.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April, at 7 p.m. at the
Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W Paradise Drive, West Bend, with the
Rev. Ronald Rewerts presiding. The Visitation will be held on Tuesday,
April 5, from 5 p.m. until the time of service, also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park Wednesday at
10 a.m.
