Janice Mesich, 83

Born to Eternal Life on April 4, 2011, at the age of 83.

Beloved wife of the late John  Mesich Sr. Loving mother of John Jr.
(Ann) Mesich, Jeffrey (Shawn) Mesich and Joseph (Kristine) Mesich.
Proud grandma of Melanie, Jennifer, Jovie, John III, Kevin, Joe Jr, Joshua,
Justin, Stephanie, Jeffrey, Nicole and Kayla. Great- grandmother of Mason,
Madeline, Jonus, Jaiden, Jayla, Desiree and Evan. Dear sister of Allen
(Blanche) Ervin and Donald (Joy) Ervin.

Life long best friend of the late Ruthie Zielinski. Special Grandma and dear
friend of Mary Ruth and Zebrina. She is further survived by many nieces,
nephews, other friends and relatives.

Janice was born in Eagle River, Wis., in 1928 to the late George and
Gertrude (nee Walsh) Ervin. She met John when he came to Eagle River to
skate for the Falcons hockey team. They were married and moved to Milwaukee after John had been offered a job skating for the Milwaukee Flyers hockey team.

She was an accomplished golfer. Taught to play golf by her husband, she
managed to reduce her handicap to 4 as she was the Ladies Club Champion at Racine Johnson Park during the 1950s. She was also a pianist, like three
generations of women in the family before her.

She was an active member of Christian Mothers and a devout Catholic, having
been a member of both St. Thomas Aquinas Parish and Sacred Heart Parish in Milwaukee, as well as St. Francis Borgia Parish after having moved to
Cedarburg in the mid-1990s. Everyone will always remember her for her dry
sense of humor and her strong sense of family.

This sweet lady will be missed by all that knew her.
