Roger C. Zaun Sr. (W9UVV) Roger C. Zaun Sr., of Mequon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 1, 2011, at the age of 93. Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He is survived by his wife Vira (nee Kubeska), sons Roger Jr. (Paulette) and Eric; granddaughters Amy Zaun and Cari (Jason) Feger, and great- granddaughter Amber Feger. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.  Roger and Vira were married for 70 years. They are members of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon. Roger was the founder of Milwaukee Electronics Corporation. He was an avid ham radio operator, holding an extra class amateur radio license. He was a member of both the Ozaukee and Milwaukee radio clubs. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and refurbishing radio equipment. A private funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 5.
