Ronald B. Bucholz, 71

Ronald B. Bucholz, 71, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Ron was born on Aug. 2, 1939, to Bernard and Gladys (nee Zamel) Bucholz in Milwaukee. Attended Pulaski High School class of 1957. He began working at Milwaukee Envelope Manufacturing Co. and then entered the U.S. Army in 1963. After his discharge, Ron returned to Milwaukee Envelope Manufacturing Co. and then married Dianne (nee Oswald) on June 15, 1968, in Park Falls. The couple lived in Milwaukee and then moved to West Bend with their family in 1972. Ron enjoyed sports, especially the Green Bay Packers; camping; gardening; going to their cabin and, above all, spending time with his family.
Ron is survived by his wife, Dianne; children, Brian of the town of Farmington, Brad (Char) of West Bend and Bob (Crystal) of West Bend. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Isabella, Ethan and one on the way; brother, Bernard of East Troy; sister, Judy (Al) Bethke of Waukesha; sister-in-law, Julie (Richard) Fisch of Las Vegas and Terri Wartgow of Park Falls; brother-in-law, Ken Skowronski of Franklin; special friends, John and Sandy Czuppa; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandy Dittel; sister, Kathy Skowronski; and brother-in-law, Don Dittel; sister-in-law, Pat Bucholz; niece, Debbie Bucholz; and nephew, Mike Bucholz.

A memorial service for Ron will be on Saturday, April 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with the Rev. Mike Moran presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9, from 8 a.m. until time of service.
