Earl ‘Red’ Halverson, 85 Earl "Red" Halverson, 85, passed away on April 16. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Mickey); dear father of Kim (Ron Heyen), Earl J. Halverson (Bernice), Scott Halverson and MaryAnne Richter; doting grandfather to Stephanie Halverson, Elizabeth Gilbert, Jacqueline (Jason Gailey), Nicholas Heyen and Reigina Timm; loving great-grandfather to Noah James Gailey and Hayden Leroy Allan Seibel; beloved son of the late Orley and Meta Halverson; son-in-law of Clarisy Lennartz; and brother-in-law to Mary and Charlie LeBow and John and Kandace Lennartz. He had a lifelong unique relationship with Melody and Sonny Gensler. He is also survived by a host of close relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Lumen Christi Parish, 138 Buntrock Ave, Thiensville, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A prayer service will follow. Private interment for family will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park on Thursday. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was an avid bowler and employee of Strachota Milshore Bowl for 17 years. He was an invaluable employee of Metropolitan Cadillac for 49 years and 10 months. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
