Lucile M. Wagner, 84
Lucile M. Wagner, 84, of Campbellsport, passed away peacefully at her home
on Saturday, April 23, 2011.
She was born on Dec. 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Martin and Alma
(nee Sell) Gloede. On Nov. 24, 1945, she married Henry A. Wagner at
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport. They had three children, James,
Darlene and Russell. Lucile worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Joseph
Convent for over 20 years until her retirement.
Lucile’s favorite place in the world was her home where she lived from
the time of her marriage until her passing. Lucile always did it her way
and it was so appropriate that she died peacefully in her sleep in the
place she loved.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Wagner (special friend, Bob
Schneider) of West Bend; her son, Russell (Tricia) Wagner of Fond du Lac;
her daughter-inlaw, Lori Wagner and her husband, John Dollinger, of Punta
Gorda, Fla.; her grandchildren, Tracy (Ron) Roberts of Sparta, Tenn.,
Carrie (Ted) Hartman of Ormond Beach, Fla., Jeff (Nichole) Reno of West
Bend, Josh Wagner of Jackson, Jessie Wagner, Zach Naparala and Justin
Hill, all of Fond du Lac; great-grandchildren, Cody James Roberts, Sequora
Hartman, Sophia Reno and Haley Wagner. She is further survived by her
brother, Arnold (Helen) Gloede of Campbellsport; her sister, Evelyn
Scheinoha of Eden; a brother-in-law, Al (Lucky) Wagner of Campbellsport;
her sister-in-law and friend, Leona Wagner of Kewaskum and many nieces,
nephews and friends that were of great help to her in her later years.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 16, 1972; her son, James,
on July 30, 1996; her brother, Gilbert and his wife Marie Gloede; an
infant brother, Harold; and a nephew, Lee Scheinoha.
According to Lucile’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no
funeral services. Her ashes will be buried next to her husband at Union
Cemetery in Campbellsport.
