Michael A. Dudkiewicz, 54
Michael
A. Dudkiewicz, 54, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011, surrounded by
family and friends at his home after fighting a courageous battle against
cancer.
He was born in Platteville and raised in the
Cedarburg area graduating from Cedarburg High School in 1975. After high
school, he attended UWOshkosh, then MATC, and began his career as the
owner and installer of a commercial window contracting company.
In 2007, he found his soul mate in Joan Sigler and
they have spent their lives together ever since. Mike loved hunting,
fishing, golfing, and enjoyed landscaping and cooking. For a number of
years, he coached the Cedarburg Middle School Colts football team and
participated in competitive archery shoots. He was a member of Horicon
Marsh Bowmen and West-Bar Sportsmen’s Clubs.
He is survived by his soul mate and partner, Joan
Sigler; children, Cassie and Brendan Sigler; parents, Leonard and Lois Dudkiewicz (nee Camlek); sister, Laurie Jentges; brother, Ronald; nieces,
Katie and Becky Jentges aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He is
preceded in death by his grandparents.
The memorial service for Michael will be held on
Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at noon at Trinity Lutheran Church of West Bend,
140 N. 7th Ave., with the Rev. David Schoob presiding. The visitation will
be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at
noon, also at the church.
