Cherl A. Maney, 64
Cherl A. Maney (nee Sheve), 64, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, July 31, 2011, with her family by her side.
She was born on May 12, 1947, in Milwaukee. Cherl was a longtime resident of Washington County where she raised her two children before moving to White Potato Lake in Pound, where she loved to fish. She was a member of the White Potato Lake Sportsmanís Club and the Northwoods Riders. Cherl found one of her greatest joys in being a "Grandma" and watching the children learn and grow. She will always be remembered for her cooking. Cherl always had a knife in her hand cutting up vegetables and soup will never taste the same without her!
She was the loving mother to Tracy (Tim) Herman of Kewaskum, and Trent (Kristin) Jacoby of Cedarburg; grandmother to Teagan and Tierney Herman; Marissa and Ivan Jacoby. She is further survived by her brother Russ (Linda) Sheve and their sons, Nicholas and Chase of Pound, and her sister, Peggy (Tom) Nadolski of Milwaukee. She was also loved by other nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends. Cherl was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Ester (June) Sheve.
A celebration of Cherlís life will be held Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Wouterís Front II on White Potato Lake.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the White Potato Lake Sportsmanís Club.
