Helen Feiter (nee Wegener) , 93, passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Wellington Place in Hartford.

Helen was born May 19, 1918, in the town of Lebanon in Dodge County to Julius Sr. and Alvina (nee Rennick) Wegener, She was united in marriage to Sylvester Feiter on June 27, 1936, at Holy Hill.

Helen was a lifelong resident of the town of Ashippun and was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Rubicon.

She survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sisters and brothers.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at 3 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford with Rev. Alois Van Beek officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m.

Interment will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Rubicon.

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. John Catholic Church, Rubicon are appreciated.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the doctors, nurses, the Aurora Visiting Nurses Hospice, and the staff of Wellington Place for their loving care of Helen.
