Kasandra Rose Fleisner
Kasandra
Rose Fleisner (Peanut) began her heavenly adventure Aug. 19, 2011, after
her courageous five year battle with brain cancer. Her miracle of life
began on Aug. 9, 1991.
Kassy spent three years at St. Mary’s Springs and graduated from Lomira
High School in 2009. Kassy was accepted to the University of San
Francisco. Kassy was an accomplished dancer, artist, athlete, student,
song-writer, joke teller and AQHYA world champion horse exhibitor.
She is survived by her parents, Theodore W. Fleisner, Brenda Fleisner (Zamzow),
her siblings Jeremiah (Tracy), Abigail, Rayce, treasured auntie to Havah
Grace and Cruz Waylan, grandparents Kate "Beeka" (Warren)
Handrich, Gerald Fleisner, Janice Zamzow, Brian Zamzow, many aunts,
uncles, cousins, friends and her beloved dog Sadie.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth
St. Way, Fond du Lac, on Thursday Aug. 25, 2011, at 1 p.m. Immediately
following the Mass, will be a time of remembrance in the parish hall until
6 p.m.
A memorial scholarship is being created in her honor; all donations may be
forwarded to the National Exchange Bank, 130 S. Main St., Fond du Lac.
Along with her accomplishments, Peanut will be most remembered for her
sense of humor, wit, her compassion for others, love of life, huge hugs
and most of all wanting to spread peace and love to everyone …
