Elaine Sadowski, 55 Elaine Sadowski (nee Groth) of Jackson passed away peacefully on  Sunday, Dec. 4, 2011, at Horizon Hospice in Mequon at the age of 55  years. Elaine was born in Port Washington  on July 27, 1956, to LaVerne  (nee Sudbrink) and Edward Groth. She married Bruce Sadowski on March  30, 1974, at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church in Jackson. Elaine grew up working in the family business, Groth’s Country  Gardens, with her mother and father, and later became owner and  operator with her husband, Bruce, and her children.  The business  and her family were her life. She is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Jackson; children, Paul  (Shantell) of Cedarburg, Jennifer (Jason) Wollner of West Bend and  Peter (Charlotte) of Jackson; grandchildren, Katelyn, Emma, Maggie,  Kourtney, Ethan and Everett; mother, LaVerne Groth of Jackson;  sisters, Rosemary Blaeske of Germantown and Virginia (Charles)  Schultz of Hubertus. She is further survived by other relatives and  many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Groth. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. at  David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church, 2470 David’s Star Drive, Jackson.  Family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. to  6:45 p.m.  Memorials of your choice are appreciated.
