Mary Ellen Young, 82 Funeral services will be held today, Dec. 20, 2011, at 1 p.m. at  Alliance Bible Church, 13939 Cedarburg Road, Mequon, for Mary Ellen  Young of Grafton who passed away at home surrounded by her family on  Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at the age of 82. Visitation will be held at  the church today from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Interment will be  private. Memorials to the Women’s Ministry at Alliance Bible Church are  appreciated. Mary Ellen was born in Glen Haven on Jan. 24, 1929, the daughter of  Lawrence and Catherine (nee Walz) Kuenster. Mary Ellen was united in  marriage to Charles Alfred Young and they were blessed with four  children. Charles preceded Mary in death on Sept. 5, 2010. There were many things Mary Ellen enjoyed, like ballroom dancing to  Big Band music, cooking and gardening. Traveling to Door County was  also a passion of Mary Ellen’s. Mary Ellen had two loves. She was an avid rummage sale person and  also she adored spending time with her grandchildren. Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Kerry L. (Catherine Wisth)  Young of Saukville, Tara  Y. (Roger) Case  of Grafton and Shane  C.  (Molly K.) Young of Saukville; granddaughters, Alexandria and  Mackenzie Young; step-grandchildren, Cassie, Cara, Michael and Carly  Wisth; great-grandson, Collin Wisth;  and sisters, Vera Anne (Max)  Wood of Bagley and Pat (Bill) Breene of Waunakee. She is also  survived by other relatives and friends. Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,  Charles; and her daughter, Kalee A. Young.
