David "Bimbo" D. Baumhardt passed away suddenly on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at the age of 59 years.

David was born on Jan. 11, 1952 in Fond du Lac to Donald and Sylvia (nee Zielkie) Baumhardt. He married Patricia Semb on Sept. 11, 1976, at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. Dave was an avid hunter and had a passion for stock cars. He was also a devoted Packer fan. Dave loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia; children Stephanie, Bradley, and Adam (Sara); and grandchildren Camron, Dylan, Savannah, Jacob, and Ashton. He is further survived by his brothers Roger (Diane), Ronald (Deb), Richard, and William; sisters Joan Baumhardt, Susan (Stanley) Immel, and Ann (Dan) Sabish; mother-in-law Peggy (Ben) Jeziorski; brothers-in-law William Benson, and Michael (Sharon) Semb; sister in-law Anita Scoville; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. Dave is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Sylvia Baumhardt; sisters Judith Benson and Patricia Wietor; brother-in-law Robert Wietor; nephews Scott Immel and David Sabish; father-in-law Andrew Semb; step-mother Marion Baumhardt.

A funeral service for Dave will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend with the Rev. David Schoob presiding. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at the FUNERAL HOME ONLY. The Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend is assisting the family
