Phyllis A. Kowaleski
Phyllis A. Kowaleski (nee Ramczyk), 99, of Slinger, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at her residence. She was born on July 19, 1912, in Custer, Wis. (Town of Sharon) to the late John and Rose (nee Zurawski) Ramczyk.
She is survived by her loving children, John (Jan), Mary (Dave) Maciejewski, Rick (Joani); precious grandchildren, Barbara Maciejewski, Diane (George) Schultis, Margie Maciejewski, Ellen (Robert) Krolski, Darryl (Sandy) Kowaleski, Kate (Kevin) Olson, Kurt (Stefanie) Kowaleski, Alan Kowaleski, Cheryl and Carla Rice; 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Clarence; sisters, Evelyn Schwark, Etta and Angie Ramczyk; brother-inlaw, and sisters-in-law. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brothers and sisters, Barney, Albert, Daniel, Victor, Pricilla, Rita, Lucille, Bernice, and Theresa.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at 12 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (200 E. Washington St., Slinger) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. The visitation will be at the church on Monday, Jan. 2 from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass (noon). Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
