Michelle ‘Shelby’ L. Santroch, 32

Ms. Michelle "Shelby" L.  Santroch of Milwaukee passed away at the residence of her mother in Cedarburg on Saturday evening, Jan. 29, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 32 years old.

Michelle was born in Milwaukee on Jan. 1, 1979. She grew up in Brown Deer and graduated from Brown Deer High School with the class of 1997. Following school, Michelle became a licensed aesthetician and practiced at Stella’s Salon in Milwaukee. She was a fiercely independent, warm-hearted and free-spirited young lady.

She is survived by her parents, Cathy (Marc) Dion of Cedarburg and Dale (Nancy) Santroch of Mauston; her sister, Christie (John) Odenwald of White House, Tenn.; and her cherished niece, Emma Rose Odenwald , also of White House, Tenn. She is further survived by her grandparents, Frank and Betty Pfister, of Oak Creek; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Funeral Services for Michelle will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1376 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg.  Father Dan Janasik will officiate the service. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington St., Cedarburg, on Friday, Feb. 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
